Flower ID

Can anyone tell me what this flower is? It popped up in friend's garden. It's like a foxglove. And the leaves are similar. The flower though looks like a lily. Thank you.

A foxglove with hormone weedkiller damage?  Looks strangely mutated.

I was thinking along those lines Fidget ... it’d be interesting to see if the leaves are affected.

Let's see what the leaves look like.
  • Thanks for  your replies. No pic of leaves at moment. Don't think any damage though.

Are they furry ? It has the shape and the spotted petals of a foxglove :O but why didn't the the petal form all the way around?
  • We do think it's a mutant foxglove but no idea why.

It does look like damage of some sort. But you could always save some seed, grow them on and see what results.  You might have a new variety!
