Leeks and broccoli

Hello gardeners. I'd  appreciate some advice.  It's the First of June and I'm about to remove the black poly from my veggie beds (I'm in Scotland).  SO much waiting to go in the ground and I'm getting a bit stuck for space! Would it be feasible to wait until my courgettes stop producing and then use that space to plant out my leeks and broccoli? Many thanks

I plant my Leeks and broccoli soon as I have dug my first early potatoes, been as  I live in Lincolnshire I am  lot further south than you are so we are in a better situation to plan and it would be rather late waiting for the courgettes to finish.Could you do some inter planting between rows of other veg which you may be harvesting in a few weeks time.I wish you luck and this will help.

Thanks, Peter ... the situation has resolved itself, in that my squash plants have just sat and sulked, so I'm putting them in big pots in the greenhouse ... leaving space for broccoli and leeks!
