Hampshire_Hog, I am grateful for any information on house to get around this sight and you not teaching he how to suck eggs, I didn't know about the quick links. Thank you.
Dovefromabove, I don't like them but my son does. It was he who bought them so I can grow them for him. Not daft my son lol. I did think they might take a year or two before they fruit. Thanks for you help.
Looking at the picture I only see one top window vent If its not to late I would order with an additional window with an auto vent opener so you have two. It can get mighty hot in there so you need to let the heat rise and leave via as many openings as you can. I'm lucky enough to have a 10 x 13 greenhouse (approx.) and I have four top opening windows with autovents . With all four windows and the double doors open and shading on all glass on the sunny side it still gets to 35-40 degrees in there.
Oh... and I agree with everyone. Toughened glass is a must especially if you have children or grandchildren in the garden.
Enjoy your greenhouse there great fun.

Kili, I have one but you think a second one is a good idea. Where would would you put it one at each end. I have just looked at the greenhouse and it only comes with on opening window so I can't see how to fit a second one.
we got our last one from the greenhouse people was a good price its green, 6 x 6, louvre vents opposite the door, roof vent each side, safety glass. Our other 2 hort glass, only ever had one pane break, hubby squeezing past it, came to no harm.
Evening Nanny Beach, the greenhouse we're ordering is 6 x 10 which is the same foot print as our shed that we are taking down before it falls down. I looked around the different seller and found the one we're ordering has to two roof vent's. When you said greenhouse people it rang a rather large bell so look and it the same company so it's nice to know of some else who has bought from them.

yes NannaBoo. If you can afford it get another window . I don't know which make of greenhouse your buying but the opening windows are usually something you can buy as an add on. Ring your supplier and ask them if they can add another window or if you can buy one to fit yourself. To fit the window they usually just slide in along the grove of the outside top bar to where you want to place them. There usually 60cm x 60cm.

dont all greenhouses have sliding doors? We inherited a 6 X 8, near the bungalow, a 6 X 2 lean to, on the side of the bungalow, where I overwinter citrus, small tubular heater. The last one is in the veg garden, its NOT 6 X 6, its 6 X 8, so 100 ft of growing space. That one overwinters bananas, agapanthus. The greenhouse people one we bought a Hampton Court, special offer.
