A like Icon?

I light of the recent discussion regarding a like icon I thought this would help maybe!!

The question is would you like to see a like icon yes or no

The poll is anonymous.

I’m sorry I’m sure it’s well intentioned but I think this is a really bad idea.

This forum belongs to Immediate Media ... attempting to put pressure on the editor one way or the other is going to result in nothing but a lot of ill feeling on all sides.

Have we learned nothing from the debacle of the B****t referendum? 😢

I think Hampshire Hog is really trying to help, so thank you HH. But I think a poll on this should really be up to the editor. Where is he, by the way? Maybe he'll appear on Monday.

@Dovefromabove I'm not interested in what you think.

It has nothing to do with putting pressure on anyone its a general poll to see if people like or dislike the idea if you dislike the idea just vote no that's all you have to do.

@Busy-Lizzie I agree with you ...  I hope HH isn't going to be rude to you too :/

@Hampshire_Hog, that was unnecessarily rude, but very in keeping with social media.

It's ok @punkdoc ... there are a few folk who see pigeons as fair game ... just as well we're tough old birds ;)

I'm glad you think so Dove 😊 It's the 👿 in me.

It's was not intended to be rude just annoying that you try to scupper the idea before anyone has the chance to vote, I personal think a like icon would be a bad idea on this site but it would be interesting what others thought.

If the editors wishes to run there own poll then I'm sure they would, as before it was an option that people democratically decided against, but the subject has been raised again I thought it might be an idea to see what peoples opinion was now. Not lets have a second referendum. 😊

    No probs :)

It's just that this forum isn't and can't be democratic ... it's a business and Daniel's in charge ... what he says goes and that's how it is.   That was my point ... if there was a vote one way or another and Daniel said No it runs the risk of bad feelings etc ... that was my point.   As I remember it, there wasn't a 'democratic vote' before ... people were asked and they put forward their opinions, and Daniel took a view and made a decision ... that's his job and his responsibility.
