Curling leaves on phlox

Good morning all. Does anyone have an idea about what's causing the leaves on my phlox to curl? I've had a good look and see no sign of insect activity. Ideas on how to treat would also be much appreciated! Thanks

I wouldn’t take much notice of that, it’s the lower leaves so could have been affected by the cold snap a little while ago. The top leaves look very healthy, if they start to go as well, come back and show us, but for now I would just pick off the offending leaves and see how it goes.

Looking closer, that’s not white fly is it ? On the lower leaves, if it is, you can spray with washing up liquid diluted in a little spray bottle.

Thank you, Lyn.  I think it's the reflection off the water droplets you might be seeing? I've taken the leaves off and will see how it goes!

That’s good, I’m sure they’ll be fine, let us know if it happens again, 🙂
