Please can anyone identify this plant, I have been told by its previous owner (who also dosn't know what it is) that it flowers and then has berries afterwards. Any help would be good. Thanks

I’ve seen phytolaccas growing in many lovely private and RHS gardens ... it never appears to be thug-like. Relatively easy to grow possibly ... but it’s not Russian Vine or Himalayan Balsam.

Lovely looking plant, but toxic and invasive: it has to go!
