Does anyone know what this plant is called please? I really want one! :-)

    Acanthus or Bears Breeches.  Read the other current thread on it before buying one.

    Once you get it going it's a bug**r to get rid of.  Still trying to eradicate mine after 3 yeaars.

    Acanthus mollis.  It is propagated by root cuttings, so any bit of root will regrow. It also spreads by seed, so dead head it and make sure the seeds do not drop.

    Thanks everyone, I wanted to get one for a big planter but it sounds like it would grow out of it very quickly!

    You’ll need a very big planter😀
