What to do about slugs/snails/mice

  But do they not just swarm out again? My slugs seem to like to drink beer, get drunk and go home.

  Thank you for all your help!I give the veggie patch a go and I suppose if it doesn't work it just doesn't work. I'm not a fan of killing anything or using chemicals but I shall guard the veggies as much as I can!

  Sounds bit like my fist grotty flat in London, use to get slugs come up from under the floor boards between the gap and skirting board, you would get up in the night turn the light on and they would be slithering around I use to put slug pellets down the gaps worked for a few weeks then they would come back.🐗
