HELP! What kind of plant did I adopt

I adopted this plant and the guy who gave it to doesn’t know what it is and I can’t find it online anywhere.

I need to know now how to care for it so it doesn’t die. Please help!

I think it’s a type of fern ... so it’ll probably need filtered light (not direct sunlight) and a moist atmosphere, so mist it every day, preferably with rainwater.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Hi there. Your plant is a Cretan Brake Fern (Pteris cretica) possibly albolineata. Useful information found here:

Lucky you. It’s so pretty and looks really healthy. I get offered adoption plants usually when they are pretty much beyond saving!
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

It appears to be in perfect condition, so I suggest you carry on doing whatever you're doing!
