I followed @Mr. Vine Eye's advice and let them grow a bit. This is them a month ago, outside to harden:
They were still very floppy. I put them in bigger pots and propped up with sticks. I left them in pots outside for a week or so, then planted them in the garden. This is one of them today:

What a beauty eh?
I have about 20 of them dotted around the garden, but this is the best so far. I did lose one or two (under / over watering, slugs / not sure) and some are still a bit bendy, but the majority are doing well and coming into bloom.
