Help to identify this plant please

Hi all
Can anyone help me identify what this plant is please, an if it is dangerous to animals

    It looks like one of the Arums (Cuckoo Pint) it is toxic to animals including dogs - I have lots of it in my garden and a dog.
    I would guess it tastes pretty bad in some way, but I don't know

    That looks like Arum maculatum, a native plant - "Lords & Ladies" and "Cuckoo-pint" are a couple of its common names.  It is indeed poisonous to humans and animals - especially the bright red berries.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Yes, that's right. Once it's been pollinated the berries start to form and by mid summer that yellow bit is covered in berries
    Very pretty, but invasive
