Veronica Gentianoides

I have only just discovered this plant and really like it.
Can I deadhead it to prolong flowering or does it just flower in late spring and then ‘go over’?
Thank you

I first grew them from seed years ago and have patches of them here and there in my garden.
My neighbour bought me the one below a couple of months ago.
Once they've flowered, that's it, so enjoy while they last.
They are easy to divide and easy from seed.
Once the flowers have finished, other plants in the border take over and hide the leaves for the rest of summer, then they pop up again the nest spring

Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • Thank you for that - very useful.
I will certainly save the seed and produce more plants - they are lovely.
