Daphniphyllum macropodum

Liz-cookeLiz-cooke Posts: 9
i have a lovey daphniphyllum in the garden which i love but it is getting so big. I want to know if I can prune it, and when, can I completely remove some branches to thin it out, particularly the lower ones without hurting it?mowing the grass under it is getting difficult! Thanks

I have one of these but just a baby at the mo.  I suggest you looke here for care and cultivation info from the RHS and then scroll down and follow the link to "pruning group 8" for woody plants.

Now's the time to do it.  Follow the guide to how to prune given in the link.
