Is my tree poorly





Hi all is my tree poorly ive never seen these white and black sticky marks on it before.

I don’t know what type of tree it is so can not google it

    Those look like scale insects. The best way to remove them is to scrub them off. 

    Your tree looks like a sycamore or something similar.

    I agree with Pansyface - and it looks like a standard field maple. It looks well enough established though, so it shouldn't trouble it too much.
    Hard to see without having a pic of the whole tree though.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thank you all for your reply’s if I do nothing will a natural predator come and eat the sale bugs

    That’s probably too big for a front garden tree it will be bigger than the house
