Both diseases can be treated, just look in your garden centre. But quite frankly I would bin them and start again with something else. If you are in an area that is affected by these diseases it will be a constant battle to keep your box balls alive and looking good.
I have one box ball that is large, which I’m managing to keep going and looking good but it does require a lot of care. So depends how much of a priority they are for you.
And both have clear pictures of the moth caterpillars and cocoons etc.
Including placing pieces in a bag so you can see what fungus and colours or not develop, for a blight diagnosis.
And when and how to cut them.
Sorry it saves people writing long answers. And is good info being RHS
Good luck with your plants. They do look like they are recovering with the new growth.
If you are still unsure if you can show a photo close up of the leaves and stems.
