Rhododendron Flowering Problem

I have a Rhododendron in a large pot on my patio which I planted last year and for some strange reason it only flowered on one side. Has anyone got any ideas why??

    There could be two reasons for that. Either it’s in too much shade or possibly over last year’s heatwave it did not get sufficient watering for it to form enough buds for this year.

    Although it’s a large container, it’s put on quite a bit of growth already, so be prepared to re-pot soon. Other than that it looks pretty healthy. Keep up with the watering when it’s hot and dry.

    It's just put it's energy into growing [ie foliage] rather than flowers. Nothing to worry about.
    It's looking nice and healthy, and will need a bigger pot to do well, as already said, but keep up the watering/feeding to maintain it, especially towards the end of summer when the new buds form. A soil based compost [ericaceous is beneficial] is needed if it's staying potted. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
