Nitrogen feed for lawns

T this time of year farmers are regularly seen spreading Nitrogen onto grass fields to feed the hay and silage. after a few weeks the fields look very green and lush. Is it possible to buy the same feed in small amounts for lawns? Or is it possible to by a similar product from the garden centre

I used it on lettuce a few years ago - the results were astounding
Chicken manure pellets are also high in nitrogen
PS - I use the pellets on my lawn in spring just before rain is forecast - but still waiting for rain this year
