Extreme gardening is weeding down the end of the garden. Extreme ironing is doing tea towels, underwear and sheets.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Hooray!  I am an extreme gardener

sounds like hubbies ex was an extreme ironing person (used to hang stuff on the line by colour - what? ) I did about 60 shirts once for my daughter (wardrobe mistress) and that was a bit extreme.......

At the moment my fav piece of kit is a cordless electric garden saw. It made me want to weep when I first got it. I didn't even know little electric saws were a thing. Oh the hours and cursing it has saved me. Cutting branches thicker than my wrist in seconds. It's very light so I can carry it or lift it high easily. Mine holds its charge for years (literally). I charged mine two years ago and am still using it up. (I have a small garden). I use it for household jobs too. It is a small miracle.

My right arm. Its out of action at the moment and I’m really missing it. Other than that, this:

It’s my tool of choice in the battle of the bindweed.

It looks as if we're all going for the smaller versions of tools. Hopefully the college questionnaires we'll get later in the year will take note.

@Fire. Do you use it with that attachment? Is it a brace to hold the saw on the branch? I have a reciprocating saw but it's bigger and corded and no brace.

My ratchet secateurs are my favourite.
Second is my claw digger - it’s a long handled one so you can stand up and agitate the soil - great for weeding and the first stage of prepping a planting hole.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
