Female dogs urine burning turf.

My daughter is visiting us shortly with her dog for a week or so

Any advice of how to stop a Female dog urine burning areas in the lawn.

Tried some I think was Australian Rock in her feeding water without any joy some years ago.

My soil is a little on the alkaline side.

Don’t let dog on the lawn, no real other solution, I trained my dog to wee where I wanted it to. I know that doesn’t help. Best you can do is watch where dog wees then thoroughly soak before it burns the turf.

Cant teach an old dog new tricks.

My daughters dog is 11 yrs old.
Tried the drenching of the patch as it seems the damage is done when her urine touches the blades and cannot reseed for a month or so.
