Oh dear, forgotten tobacco plants

Tidying the greenhouse and found a tray of half grown tobacco plants looking very sad. I have removed the dead flowers but can the actual plant be cut back? I have re-potted them.

    Do you mean Nicotiana? If so, you can cut them down if they haven’t gone too far.
