Nectarines

Does anyone know if it’s possible to grow a nectarine tree from the kernel & if so any tips on how to go about it.

Assuming you can get it to germinate and grow you will have to wait a long time to get fruit and they will not be true to the parent so you may either end up with something very wonderful or very ordinary or very awful.   Not sure it's worth it.

I have two nectarines, both named varieties grafted on dwarfing stock so I can train them as espaliers and grow them under cover to protect them from the dreaded leaf curl.   They need to be sheltered from winter freezes, early rains which carry the leaf curl spores and then frosts while they're in flower or you get no fruit.   If it's cold, you also need to cross-pollinate them yourself as there aren't enough pollinators about.
