I'd guess 1st is the melon
I don't grow melons bot the foliage of the 2nd pic looks almost identical to the leaves on my cucumber

basically you can't, I have two bread cases of pumpkin/cucumber/courgette seedlings I can tell the cucumbers apart from the others only by the seed leaves, they are smoother and not hairy, but I have not grown any melons this year so I cannot say if melons have hairy seed leaves or not.

I find the darker leaves are cucumber and lighter the leave is melons.

Why not post a pic of the seedlings in your conservatory, then you may get other suggestions.
The 1st leaves and all other leaves on my cucumbers have serrated edges like the one in the 2nd pic

PS don't know if it's of any help, but here's my cucumber

One of these, useful for carrying lots of seedlings around in.

The cucumber and melon seedlings are in the ground now so I will either have melons hanging from the trellis or cucmbers  :#

    Thanks for your advice friends

Both cues and melons are growing well.

3 of the 9 melon plants survived and 3 of the 6 cues are trucking on and starting to climb
