    They do indeed love it DampGardenMan and that is the shame of keeping it from spreading. I understand that it can also be used to treat wounds … as the name suggests I suppose :-)

    I hope you do get to see them, Fidgetbones. I was taken by their size when I saw them, but your in for a treat :-)

    I don’t know, I don’t leave it long enough to flower if I can help it, I know it has tiny purple flowers as some of it gets left in my wild garden.
    i have seen Hawk Moth Caterpillars here, they strip my hardy fuchsias. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
