They do indeed love it DampGardenMan and that is the shame of keeping it from spreading. I understand that it can also be used to treat wounds … as the name suggests I suppose :-)
Was your moth, the 'Hawkmoth' Lyn, that's what I found started visiting, but never thought it could be the Hedge Woundwort attracting it!
I don’t know, I don’t leave it long enough to flower if I can help it, I know it has tiny purple flowers as some of it gets left in my wild garden. i have seen Hawk Moth Caterpillars here, they strip my hardy fuchsias.
