    That's great news!
Keep a watchful eye, particularly if we have another scorching summer (though if this June is anything to go by, that may never happen!), as they need a lot of moisture.
As an aside - I do like your lime green wall  :)

Great news that it's growing new buds @kkudi 👍.
Looks like the silhouette of fresh new leaves too at the top of the first pic.
I'm really pleased for you 😀.

I can finally say that this was the best thing that’s ever happened to my dying acer tree.

I was away for 10 days for a wedding and a small holiday. The growth the acer tree has seen is phenomenal compared to the pictured I posted on the first post.

Thanks everyone for your advice and help.

That must be such a happy little tree ... and doesn’t its red colour just sing out against the acid yellows-green behind it ... a triumph 😊

Yes, it looks amazing already. The latest pictures do not do it justice. How it was and how it's come about in the short space of just 4 weeks is phenomenal. I am sure it was a combination of things. Appropriate compost, acer food and finally being on the soil as opposed to that pot.

I think the bloom next year will be even more dramatic, because it will have time to recover and grow properly.

It has a very elegant shape. 😊
Some acid greens in the border around it would look great .., maybe the smaller euphorbias, or an acid yellow hosta? 😊

It's definitely not a hosta. I knew the name of the left ones. They are late to bloom. I'll try and find the name.

The right ones always have holes on the leaves from snails and the flowers are kinda white.
