Bamboo losing leaves

Hey guys, our bamboo that we've had for two years is slowly losing it's leaves and colour, whilst we known this is usual to allow new growth, we've lost a lot more than usual, any ideas as to what's happening and what we can do? Our dwarf bamboo is doing absolutely fine.

    I agree with Philippa, it won’t live in a tiny pot like that.

    Philippa's right, you need a much bigger pot and it needs lots of water regularly.

    Thanks for the help, we've upgraded to a much larger pot. My only concern is that we'll have this issue in a few years, can we split the bamboo once it has established again?

    The bamboo is the Fishpole variety if that helps

    Yes, bamboos are easily divided but you might need to use a saw.

    Just seen the other photo much larger view, I’d dump that one and buy another to go in the ground.
