Bamboo loosing colour

Hey guys, our bamboo that we've had for two years is slowly losing it's leaves and colour, whilst we known this is usual to allow new growth, we've lost a lot more than usual any ideas what we can do? Our dwarf bamboo is doing absolutely fine.
