. Looks like ants eggs and larvae. There's probably a nest underground, the little holes in the soil will be the entrances/exits.

Did you use fresh home made compost in the pot?

Very pale blue, more white than anything.

Thanks Kitty 2, there were ants around, they just looked too big for ants eggs.

You're welcome mumrey. I've had ants nests in pots before 🐜. They like dry soil. I try to keep them well watered nowadays and haven't had them since.

They'd be the pupae rather than the eggs.

I love to see them when you uncover the nest, all the adults will come and each pick one up and carry it to safety.
