Lavendar Pinnata yellowing leaves

Hi everyone. I have two Lavendar Pinnata in pots. I got them last summer and managed to just about keep them alive in the summerhouse I kept at 4c over winter (don't have a greenhouse yet!). I watered them when the soil got bone dry and the foliage very wilty. There was some loss but on the whole they were okay. I was hoping they would burst into life this spring but it's not really happening.
One pot I keep under the eaves of the summerhouse, south facing so real sun trap. The other gets the rain (what little we've had) and this one is doing slightly better. But both look yellowy and a bit sad.
I added so much grit and drainage to the soil in the pots. I haven't been as strict with my watering as I am with the citrus, ie waiting for soil to dry completely, but I'm now going to try watering like this. Is there anything else I could be doing wrong, I couldn't imagine they'd need a feed? I don't want to lose them as they are so lovely.

Thanks in advance,

Isy
