  Toadflax, someone else will give you the botanical name.  A delightful maintenance-free wildflower to some, an annoying weed to others - you choose.  If you keep it, it will self-seed.  Easily prevented by dead-heading.

  Yes Purple toadflax aka Linaria purpurea ... much loved by bees 🐝

  Thank you all, Pretty plant but it must of shed its seeds already last year as there are pockets of them all over the garden this year

  I have the unofficial national collection of PT. The original picture is purple toadflax. I'd stake your house on it!

  Top one is Linaria purpurea. Bottom photo actually looks more like Erysimum Bowles mauve, but I would need a better photo to be sure.Actually looking at it again, not a wallflower. It has the snapdragon type flowers, but I don't think it is Linaria if it is in flower  at the moment.

  The flowers look a bit like erysmium bowles mauve. Is there one lurking under the other foliage?
  It could also be hesperis which i think is more likely but im sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon

  Both are Linaria purpurea...purple toadflax.
  2nd image is looking down on tiny flowers like tiny snapdragons.
  Erysmium bowles mauve......Wallflower have 4 petals.
