What’s eating my magnolia


Hello again 
I’ve got myself a small magnolia in a pot with slate around it but something  is eating it
iv put slug stuf down and copper tap and im on night watch tonight to see if I can spy who’s eating it, now I don’t mind feeding but I’m not gonna have a tree left soon😂

    There are 4 there but 3 dying very quick out of soil,,,, not sure what that are , not worms ,there were many more and very fast,, what are they ,,,that are very hungry 😂

    Never seen anything like it but maybe @Dovefromabove or @nutcutlet or @Borderline could help.

    Whenever I've seen that type of damage on magnolias it was from caterpillars or snails.  I don't think the young millipede is the culprit - those eat dead leaves etc. There are some photos of adults here
