Flowering cactus

hi, can someone tell me what my cactus is called?  It produces flowers every year and is beautiful!  Thanks, Shaz

I would guess at a mammillaria of some kind.

Definitely IS a Mammillaria , they are notoriously variable plants ; the nearest species that springs to mind is M . petersonii .
It may actually be a hybrid bred for the nursery trade ; either way , it's a nice plant !
