  • My idea is with the 2 ceanothus and 2 clementis i want to get some good coverage over the fence panels and trellis. Want more coverage, plants and overall a green feel out the patio back garden.
  • things are different than in these photos now slightly in places like the planters bessid the table and chairs are there now... and the clementis is now along the fence.. but just to give you a general gist

I.Gardener - no, the wires all stay in place. You need them for clems which get pruned down early in the year [Group 3s] and for those that don't [Group 1 and 2]  the structure of the plant stays all year round, so you wouldn't be able to remove them, even if you wanted to!
If you can get those montanas in the ground, it will really benefit them, Jordan. They cover huge areas very easily once established, which can take a few years. It's easy enough to remove pieces that get a bit too invasive, or poke them back into the main body of the plant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Have you arranged for your pots to be watered while you're away?  2 weeks without a drink can do serious damage, especially if it's hot.
