@biofreak - be aware that vinegar, salt and WUL are indiscriminate and, whilst they may well kill off the tops of weeds but not the roots, they will also kill off beneficial soil organisms so not very biodynamic.
Gravel paths can be cleaned by hoeing, especially if you use something like a stirrup hoe or this head in the Wolf multi-head range:
I've only ever seen the 15cm version in Belgium and France but managed to buy a 10cm version in the UK some years ago. Great for cleaning between veggies and ornamentals too but the 15cm is best for paths.
There's a wee storm forecast here for the next couple of hours and another possible .3mm of rain which is no use to anyone. Then nothing but clear skies for the foreseeable. Had to put the seep hose on the courgettes and squashes last night as they were wilting and the rhubarb looks unhappy too but OH has managed to do the seep hose rota for the tomatoes and chillies in my absence.

Well I did wonder! Hoeing works for me on the deep gravel but the Moss and Lichen on Tarmac mix is not good news although it looks pretty...slippy when we get rain!! Talking of which it's been mizzling all morning. Nursing a foul Summer Cold so no Market for me today.😟 Ate first Courgette Friday and first Potatoes Sunday. Such sheer pleasure picking those first crops. French Beans look promising and huge success planted on top of Asparagus..shall certainly repeat this.
Bio freak , so hear about cold hope it soon clears up
We had some rain so lawn green again and growing
Have been eating courgettes & potatoes for a few weeks now One bed of main crop potatoes need digging up At the weekend picked all my broad beans , going over , gave some away and will freeze the rest Garlic nice and dry but not a very good crop , however , shallots hopeless and the onions don’t look to good
Been to Doctor for Eye Referral and he says Cold coming to en end...what does he know? It's MY cold!!! Actually I do feel alot better so taking off to get puppy tomorrow staying one night in hotel as 3hr drive each way and don't fancy 6hrs in one day on top of 14th July traffic!! I don't talk about my Garlic Crop..very small....I have spoken to the Onions but still not very hopeful. Spring Onions are brilliant though, and as I seem to be living on a wide variety of Salads in this heat' all is good. Will put next crop of Broad Beans in in October as before. Outdoor Tomatoes doing much better than under cover, even though more holes than cover on Polytunnel Cover!!! Weeds galore in the Flower beds...really must get on top of this. Three cats trying to catch one mouse in bedroom. Might sleep on sofa tonight to get some peace, lots of yowling and squeeking!! Off to hoe the gravel as recommended by Obelixx. By the way how's the knee??
It's France's national day @GWRSand@Allotment Boy. If it falls on any day except Wednesday the French make a long weekend of it. Fireworks and parties and parades, altho fireworks round here have been banned again this year because of fears of wildfires. The big holiday exodus is the beginning of August and the motorways are solid.
Hope puppy collection and introduction goes well @biofreak.
