At last we have one!
I am delighted to announce the arrival of the very first Frog in our big pond. We have been trying to encourage them for three years now, and at last we have been rewarded. We introduced tadpoles last year, but alas they disappeared well before the frog stage - thinking they were eaten by newts or dragonfly lava. So hopefully it will find a mate and return to spawn next Spring. It's appearance and dive into the deep pond happened so quickly, no time to get the camera.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have a lonely single one who had a bout of croaking and excitement recently, so I hope he/she can find a mate at some point. I think yours might be a bit too far away though
Fingers crossed for both of them!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
