If your broken plum branch bears any fruit in the next few years, I'd support it with a forked stick or similar, on the non-trunk side of the break (if you see what I mean).  Fruit is very heavy.  I had to mend a broken branch on my Victoria plum but it started to break again in the same place last year, due to the weight of fruit... I think I salvaged it though.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Will do. At the moment I've got a rope and pulley method going at the moment involving twine and a bamboo stick ☺I'm really surprised the leaves ain't withered at all as the break is about half way through. Nice name by the way

I wonder what you call him?  I once knew a cat called Sherman, on the grounds that she destroyed everything in her path.
I put the hosepipe in his direction but not on him as he's got a 20 x 60 ft garden and he decides to lie in my newly planted dwarf lupins

Sorry to hear that ☹️ hope it’s not too bad and he makes a good recovery.

That's such a shame, poor boy.  On the plus side, it might restrain his vandalism.  I think that's what they call "natural justice", karma, or What goes around, comes around.

Awww bless him. That’s horrid, but my daughter @WonkyWomble had a three legged cat (1 front leg) and she managed amazingly well, climbing out of a former window to chase birds on the roof ... much to Wonky’s alarm. 😧 Fingers crossed 🤞 that all goes well (and for a kind vet when writing the bill).

Hello Marc, sorry to hear about Chesters accident, trust me he will be an absolute ninja, my three legged cat Sorrow was, triangles are the most stable shape, the leg will be positioned in the middle and off he will go! My very best for a speedy recovery!
