Sad geranium

I was wondering if anyone could help with a slightly sad looking Geranium 'blue blood'. It looks like the leaves are curling up and some have gone completely brown and fallen off. It is in a south facing raised planter so I wondered if it might have got a bit dry although I have watered in dry spells?  i've got a few others in the ground that look fine.

I've got various geraniums some in soil, in pots and young seedlings. The ones I've got in pots have gone the same way so I'd say yes they have got a bit dry. My pots do occasionally dry out a bit

My Geraniums (Pelargoniums) also get like this here in Brazil! They are from S Africa and are very susceptibele to overwatering especially in cool conditions. There appear to be new leaves, so just remove the old withered ones and don't overwater!

The OP is showing a photo of a geranium not a pelargonium,  watering is what it will need.

They usually prefer a bit of shade so I think your south facing pots may be asking too much.

Thanks all, I will move it into a bed with some shade and more moisture. It's a big brick raised bed so I thought it would be ok moisture wise but it really does get baked when its sunny. Got some sea holly coming soon so I'll try those there instead....
