Star Jasmin

Bought this Star Jasmin on line this week. It arrived looking like this. Its new foliage is much paler than the main stem. Any suggestions why? What would you advise before I plant it? thanks

    Me too
The dark green leaves are from last year, the light green ones are this year's growth, they'll go darker.
They're quite hungry plants, and fast growing this time of year, so I reckon you should get it planted out asap - it'd appreciate some compost/rotted manure mixed in when planting if you have any. Keep it well watered over summer.

Here's a pic of Trachelospermum asiaticum in my garden, very similar to your Trachelospermum jasminoides. You can clearly see the old foliage: mostly dark green leaves, plus a few red ones, typical of this species and the new foliage with its light green colour.
