    Is that on of those razor sharp plants that GET you of a dark night and really bloody hurts?!!

    Cordyline are soft.  Yuccas have the hard pointy leaves.

    Hi @Harper.steve7. All you need to do - after the flowers have finished - is to cut off the old flowering stem. My sister has one that is flowering for the first time in 6 years and they are quite fascinating to see. Not sure you'd want them in a bouquet though.

  • These leaves will cut you they are really sharp, its also about 15 ft tall , not sure how I am going to get up there to cut out stem when it stops flowering 😁

    The flowers smell amazing. Mine is even taller and I can't cut it off. The flower stem eventually dries and usually falls off when it's windy in the winter.

    @Harper.steve7 I get zero out of ten for observation!  I should have noticed the car etc and realised you had a beast there. @LG_ has given the best tip. Just enjoy your wonderful specimen.
