Walnut tree in pot 6years

The leaves on my walnut tree are deformed

    Can you give us a bit more information such as where you are in the UK/other, your climate etc? Plus a photo of the tree in its pot and a close-up of the deformed leaves?

    I am just outside Glasgow. Climate has been dry and around 14 degrees.

    that's a very small pot for a quite large tree, it might just be very pot bound

    Could just be wind or sun scorch on the new foliage, but I agree, potting on into a larger pot, with some soil mixed in or a loam based compost would perk it up. They do want to get pretty big! A mulch of leaf mould or bark would also help retain moisture, but leave a ring around the trunk free of the mulch.
