Identify again,

The plant is growing in my garden, do not know what it is, and in the pot, marked 'nut' is a nut shape I found a while ago and it had started to shoot so I potted it, and to me they both look similar, but got a feeling the one in the pot might have been an acorn, am sure the one in the garden is not an oak tree. sure it was there last year.

    The other one looks like a sycamore.

    Hi, you could be right, thought it might have been an acorn, but the 'plant' not sure, taken some more photos, and yes, the leaves do look 'tree' like, but it looks like a scrub type plant.

    No, it’s not a sycamore or Acer so don’t dig it up yet.  Not sure what it is but I’m working on it.

    I think it is Viburnum opulus or Guelder rose.

    Asarum, been looking at your suggestion, could be right, can't remember what it did last year, as for the oak tree, might have to take it over the woods,
