What are these shrubs?

does anyone know what these plants are please,
The second ones been cut back quite a few times by the look of it.I did wonder if it is a type of dogwood.its about 4 foot high
The first one is a small shrub,about 60-70cms high with small white flowers which don’t smell but are pretty.

Has it been coppiced?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

2. Corylus avellana ...common name Hazel.
And when you coppice the bush (every 5-7 years or so) the poles are the best supports ever for runner beans.

It is definitely hazel.
