    Not very clear from the pic  a bit fuzzy. Can wd have one taken a bit further awsy

    1. Definitely  Berberis sp...several possible named sp would fit

    Leaves have a look of Gooseberry.
    White flower ...can you take pics to show the leaves that belong to it.

    I think the top photo is the Common Barberry, Berberis Vulgaris.

    First picture is not a Berberis. Could possibly be one of the Corylopsis family.

    1.  I believe that almost all Berberis have thorns...so easy way to check if I am correct.
    Berberis sieboldii is the exception being soft.

    Corylopsis have beautiful soft yellow flower before the leaves appear.
