Is this a weed or a nice shrubby plant?

New to gardening, bought a house with huge garden, been pulling things out that I hope are weeds, but not sure about this one. Seen a few scattered about.



also, this one looks like it might be a bean plant of some kind, is it?

    The first is on the tip of my tongue/fingers but eludes me.  The second looks like sweet pea to me.

    The first may be Hypericum Hidcote?

    The top one is definitely a Hypericum - the second one looks like the perennial sweet pea which is a horror to get rid of - it comes up everywhere in a corner of my garden.

    thank you! The sweet pea is currently the only thing over on one side, so will let it do it's thing!

    The top photo is definitely a Hypericum, but I think it's most likely Hypericum Androsaemum.
