Mystery plant

This plant has appeared in a pot and neither my wife or myself remember planting it. Can someone tells us what it is? Thank you

    Aquilegia.

    It's an Aquilegia but which one I don't  know but someone one here will.

    Self-seeded aquilegia, seed probably blown in by the wind (they are tiny) so it is a hybrid and not a specific variety.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
