Unknow species start growing

Hi Folks
With start of summer below thing start growing rapidly in back lawn any one have idea whats this and whats the solution

    Bamboo. Have your neighbours got some? Looks like a spreader.

    You could paint each one with glyphosate (round up) gel. Use a piece of plastic with a hole in to protect the grass as you paint each one.

    You need to speak to your neighbours and ask them to put a root barrier down along the fence, and help you dig out all the bamboo on your side of the fence.  Otherwise your life will be an endless misery of digging up and controlling bamboo.  Try to politely get them to recognise that they planted it (or inherited it with their house) so it’s their responsibility to control it, not yours.   And take dated photos just in case.

    You can say that again - crikey!
    I get a bit near my fence from my neighbour but nothing on that scale, especially if all those have come up like that for the first time.
