lilac-tree

Morning all...... I'm after one of the old style lilac trees - the ones that were around when i was a small girl. I remember the delicious smell and beautiful flowers. I've looked online to no avail and wandered if anyone can point me in the right direction...... I think now is the right time to plant trees and shrubs so would love to be ale to order one... You help would be fantastic - thankyou

Look for Syringa vulgaris. The common lilac is a pale purple colour, but there are also a number of cultivars like double white "madame lemoine"

Try a tree nursery like bluebell nurseries, or burncoose nursery.
