Identify crippleing ground weeds - HELP - please!!!!

    Sorry to bob in, but I get this in my pots, so you are saying the drainage is not good enough? I usually just scrape it off is that ok?

    I did, thank-you. Just had a quick read up on it all! One learns something new every day. And of course there's a British Bryological Society!

    I wonder if moss killer would kill liverworts?

    Scrape every bit off the post and throw away.
  • Interesting and explains why most stuff is doing nothing to this prehistoric demon!
    And NO, my drive is not contaminated folks - we lifted a large portion of this demon and put it in a planter where we could experiment with it!
    So as a final answer on the subject - what will kill this demon spoor?

    Once you’ve scraped and disturbed, then the strongest moss killer you can find.....repeatedly.
