If it's moving with purpose (and it seems to be), it's possibly a female building a nest again, ready for the hoglet season. Standby for sounds of snuffling and grunting when the mating season begins 🦔. Great news !
I remember my Dad having to explain (carefully and with a bit of difficulty) what all the kerfuffle was in the Lily of the Valley under my bedroom window. Useless asking my Mum who couldn't bring herself to use 'certain' words so her sentences were often peppered with pauses or unfinished - it was a while ago

It seems fine @AnniD, I watched it going back and forth collecting things for at least 30 mins. I wondered why it was ripping up the garlic mustard. I've heard that some birds collect smelly plants for their nest, I wonder if it has some bug prevention properties... The second one just stayed in the heap and then disappeared into it, not sure if it is in the heap now or went out through the escape tunnel into the garden behind.
