Things are looking up. They seem to have recovered, for now at least  :)

    Thanks for advice everyone.

I appear to have a problem with my Maris Piper plantings. They are in a bed 20'x5'. Half are Pentland Javelin and half Maris Piper.
The MP have developed bright yellow patches on, mainly, the tips of the leaf (pictures).
The plants look strong and I can see no trace of aphids or insects. The other half of PJ are looking healthy and seem to be unaffected. The bed had onions in it last year.
    Anyone help!
