Can you relocate a large Camellia

Hello, 
I’m a recent novice gardener, slowly working my through a garden that needs a lot of attention. 
I have a large? (2.5-3.0m tall) white Camellia that has to go from its current position. I can see it wouldn’t be easy to move, but if someone wanted it, could it survive a relocation? Are there any recommended methods, presume autumn winter would be the time to do it? I have attempted to attach a photo of it.

    I would say no,  better to buy a nice new one and place where you want it.

    That is absolutely massive. If it's a choice between attempting to move it and possibly/probably losing it, or chucking it in a skip and DEFINITELY losing it, I know which I'd chose though.

    I would have thought you'd be best off pruning it fairly hard (to make it more manageable to handle and to balance the inevitable root loss) and taking as much rootball as feasible, some time in late Autumn.

    You can saw it right down almost to the ground if you chose to move it, they grow back very quickly.   I have done this so can safely say it works.

    Thanks all for your help. If I find somewhere for it to go I’ll do some pruning in the back end. I’ll have a digger in so can use that to assist.
